Message If they are only very slightly bent and guides are worn then they still could fit tight against the seat. Lapping puts the pressure on the face, not on the stem.

Smearing some Prussian blue and spinning them might reveal some stem warpage or it could mean an asymmetrical valve or seat angle.

Take them to a machine shop and let them check everything, including the guides.
